MRO and industrial distributors

Quote automation for MRO and industrial distributors

Maintenance teams send requests for bearings, belts, seals, hydraulics and tools by email, PDF and spreadsheet. Quote Desk reads them, applies brand interchange and drafts the quote from your price list.

Send us 3 RFQs, see them quotedHow Quote Desk works

The requests MRO distributors get

Plant engineers write "SKF 6204 2RS x 40", "6202 ZZ" or a supplier code from a ten-year-old maintenance plan. Your counter staff know the interchange by heart; new hires and branches you've acquired don't.

What Quote Desk does with them

  • Reads bearing designations and seal and shield codes, and matches across SKF, FAG and NSK (2RS, 2RSH, 2RSR, DDU; 2Z, ZZ).
  • Matches lines to your own catalogue and stock, including part numbers written with missing dashes or old suffixes.
  • Prefers stocked items and flags anything that needs a rep's judgement.
  • Drafts the quote in your format, ready for your ERP.

Why it matters after an acquisition

Buy-and-build groups add branches with their own catalogues and habits. One shared matching layer lets every branch quote at the speed of your best inside sales rep.
